Jeanette Henrikson, Co-Head Coach U12 Team - BRVBA

2019/20 U12 Co-Head Coach Blue Royals

2019, 2018 Freshman C-Team Head Coach Lynnwood High School

I grew up in Rockwall, Texas playing volleyball when I was in 6th grade. I continued playing volleyball into my 5A high school as a libero, making varsity as a freshman. After graduating high school, I went to the university of Utah and graduated with a bachelors degree in English Literature. I met my sweetheart at college ironically playing volleyball. As a pair we played beach and grass volleyball, as well as coed volleyball. Since moving to Washington, my husband and I have added more kids to our family making us a family with 3 little girls and one little boy ages 9,6,3,2. Last year I coached at the Alderwood boys and girls club for my daughters 3rd and 4th grade volleyball team. I also coached c-team volleyball at Lynnwood High School last year, and am currently coaching there this year.

I absolutely love volleyball, and I love coaching. There is something so gratifying about coaching a player and watching their personal progression throughout a season. My coaching style is a mix of hard work and fun. I expect a lot from my players but I reward hard work with fun games at practice that build upon the drills and concepts we are working on. I'm super excited to join the Royals team and hope to have a fantastic year as the u12s co-head Coach.
