Rachel Peterson, Head Coach U14 Boys Team - BRVBA

Every coach has taught me invaluable life lessons that I plan on transferring to my teams. I have played every position from DS (defensive specialist) to MB (middle blocker) and believe that everyone on the court should have a universal skill set. I do have a few rules of my own, dropped balls and one handed standing passing will have some kind of consequence!  No matter the age I will have high expectations of my athletes and we will have a great season with a ton of skill developed along the way!

Being a professional life coach, I like to have individual relationships with all of my players and want them to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. Being a teen is hard and having someone in your back pocket that is willing to listen is always a plus.

I continue to play competitive volleyball for fun in the area, mostly Co-Ed as I am always up for a challenge!

2007-2011

Grew up in Lynnwood and went to Archbishop Murphy HS placing 2nd in state during my years there. I played on several club teams each year striving for the best. To put in some additional touches, I also trained several times a week with Bill Neville. With every club team I was on we won bids to go to Nationals, even taking 3rd place at the Emerald City Classic my U16’s year and again my U18’s taking 1st, both in the open division!

2012-2015

I was recruited to play volleyball at Stonehill College by Lauren Amundson. My freshman and senior year we made it the NCAA tournament. We also took 1st place in the NE-10 division my senior year.

I majored in Psychology and Sociology and went on to get my certification in Transformative Professional Life Coaching.
